Frequently asked questions
Are you advertising for vacancies at the moment?
Anyone who is interested in a role at our new school can come along to our Recruitment Day on Wednesday 19 November anytime between 3pm and 7pm!
If you are unable to make this date and would like to see the school or talk to Gill in advance, contact our admin address to set this up. Alternatively, teaching vacancies will soon be available on the Autism East Midlands website.
When will the school be open?
We're continuing to get the school ready, and so are unable to share a specific opening date. When we do have a date, we will publish here and on our social media.
Can I come tour the school?
If you are a parent/carer and want to see if the school is a right fit for your child, please get in touch with us at braithwelladmin@aem.org.uk to organise a tour with our Headteacher.
How can I refer my child?
Admissions are submitted via local authority referrals. If you're interested in having your child or young person join us, you will need to submit this request to your local council as long as your child has a diagnosis of autism and an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
